We've loved hosting 'JADE ON FINGERS' in store this month! An exhibition of work by Cheltenham based artist Matt Sandalls.
Working as an electrician by day and spending his nights painting, the prolific artist has carefully selected an edit of his work never before exhibited, especially for MIMMO Studios.
Matt's work is semi-abstract, inspired by the everyday - overheard sentences, a vignette from daily life, a poem or a piece of music - toying with humour and melancholy in equal parts.
Working on both large scale canvas and intricate smaller scale illustrations, Sandalls' work is striking and distinct.
We love Matt's work and are so excited and proud to be showing it for the first time to the public, so make sure you don't miss the exhibition which closes on 15th December.
